Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We designed a driver circuit which controls an planar waveguide optical switch. In order to obtain low power dissipation, we designed the driver circuit by using CMOS inverters. Moreover, in order to transmit high-speed pulses, we employ the idea of a distributed-type amplifier. We designed a driver circuit for high speed and low-power optical switch connected to transmission line.
