Data Replication Protocol for Multigenerational Data Conservation

Abstract(in English) For data replication techniques, several protocols have been proposed to trade between write and read overheads. However, there is scarcely any protocol to explictly discuss the retention of past generation data. In this paper, we present "Multigenerational Data Conservation Protocol," in order to introduce the data replication protcol to the situation where the read operation for past multigenerational data is required. Simulation results show the generation availability, an access cost for write operation and the one for read operation considering the periodical updating and otherwise.
