Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a method that it extracts semantic informations from waka poems by the rough set theory. Most studies has said that the syntax analysis has little influence over semantic information extraction from poems. Waka poem has 31-syllable Japanese words and difficult grammars. Only neither language information nor background information determines the aspect of waka poems. Sound informations such as a rhythm and strength also affects the aspect of waka poems greatly. Compose of the information is discrete, and each relation is not clear. The rough set theory is used to extract correlations from various informations. We suggest that the rough set theory is available to extract semantic informations from waka poems. And prototype system visually expresses a semantic structure based on ontology of waka poems.
