Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In a distributed asynchronous network discussion, participants can not always be in it but they want to catch up the discussion easily. In this paper, we propose thread management methods to understand the stream of the discussion easily. In the methods, threads are made by splitting an existing thread or merging two threads. Any participants can propose to make a new thread but it can be made only when the proposal is accepted by the other participants. With this thread control, the structure of discussion should be simple and easy to understand. Furthermore status visualization of discussion is also introduced in the methods. The result of experiments shows that the methods are able to help the participants understand the content of discussion. |
