Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Glasses in Japan is said to be less active than the international average. It is very difficult to adjust the level and improve the class to the students because the feedbacks from the students are insufficient and such situation makes the class less efficient. In this paper we propose a lecture assistance system which promotes mutual understandings between lecturer and students. Among them in the classroom, there are two types of factors: subjective matters and objective status. The examples of the former matters are questions from students, unclear points the pace of the talk and difficulty of the topics. Such factors can be input directly by themselves, but objective status. i.e. awakeness or activity of the students must be observed. Therefore, we propose a system to assist both students and lecturers by combining both web-based feedback interface and image processing system to measure the degree of concentration of the students.
