Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Perspective sharing with others is often needed in human ordinary social activity, but human cognitive constraints and difference of attitude between people make it difficult. In this study, how shape of speech/thought balloon changes perspective sharing between a user and an embodied agent as a social actor is discussed through an experiment. In the experiment, participants (N=39) tried to either of these task: reading thought balloon emitted from an embodied agent, or filling in either a speech balloon or a thought balloon with predicting its content. As a result, it is suggested that filling in a blank thought balloon promoted the user to accept perspective of the embodied agent. Consequently, embodied agent technology for perspective sharing between a user and others is argued through comparison between experimental environment and practical problems and degree of participants' understanding of experimental environment.
