Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, the environment to achieve smoother conversation by CMC is constructed with the generation of physical interaction by avatar on a virtual space. We focused attention to the visual view of avatar as physical function to support physical interaction with others in a virtual space, and view was given to avatar in two dimensions of a virtual space. Then, the task gives subjects that decided position when the subjects participated in the others' conversations. And, the behavior of considering the view of others' avatar was observed by own avatar's having view by this experiment. This result suggests that visual view has the possibility of promoting physical interaction on a virtual space, and this suggestion contributes to design natural CMC system.
