Abstract(in English) | Music and sound effects are very important elements for audience to enjoy movies or TV programs. For the audio handicapped parsons those elements cannot be transmitted enough though there are open captions or closed captions for the audio handicapped parsons. In this paper, we propose the conversion method so that audio handicapped parsons can enjoy the movies or the TV programs by displaying sound information as visual on screen. The system model based on recognition levels of the brains, and the sound analysis and visual synthesis are consist of uniform, systematic and flexible processing from the lower abstraction level to higher one. Moreover, the effectiveness of the proposal technique was simply evaluated by a experiment. |
