Basic Characteristic of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Using Powder Magnetic core

Abstract(in English) This paper is aimed at grasping magnetic characteristics quantitatively, when the powder magnetic core is applied to the stator and the rotor of the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor. A characteristic of B-H curve of the powder magnetic core that (1) start of B-H curve is late (2) magnetic permeability and max saturation flux density are low in comparison with the silicon steel board is given. To satisfy all these conditions, B-H curves of three kinds of powder magnetic cores and the silicon steel board are modeled. And it is compared magnetic characteristics of the silicon steel board with those of powder magnetic cores using 2-D finite element method. As a result of analysis, the magnetic permeabilities of pressure powder magnetic cores for average magnetic flux density is 90% decrease in comparison with the silicon steel board. Though magnetic permeabilities of powder magnetic cores are very low in comparison with a silicon steel board, the magnetic characteristics, no load induced EMF and effective flux, of powder magnetic cores are almost equal to those of the silicon steel board.
