Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report proposes a simple pre- equalization and frequency diversity combining method for block transmission with cyclic prefix. Though the transmitter has to have accsess to the channel state information, the receiver can achieve the diversity gain with an extremely simple structure by the use of the proposed pre- equalizer and diversity combiner at the transmitter. The optimal weights for the pre- equalizer and diversity combiner based on the zero-forcing and the minimum mean-square-error criteria are derived. Furthermore, the performance of the proposed methods, including bit-error rate performance and peak-to-average power ratio of the transmitted signal, is evaluated via computer simulations.
