Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We introduce an analog pulse-coupled network of bifurcating neurons having rich periodic/chaotic spike-trains. The winner-take-all (WTA) function is used in the coupling. The network exhibits various syncronizatin phenomena and has demultiplex function. We then propose a digital pulse-coupled network of shift-register-based spiking neurons. The digital network also uses the WTA function and can exhibit rich robust synchronization phenomena. Comparing the digital network with the analog network, we consider differences and advantages of each network.
