Abstract(in English) | This paper studies chaotic behavior of a simple nonautonomaous circuit consisting of an RCL resonator and one reset switch depending on both capacitor voltage and periodic pulse-train input. If the periodic input does not present, the circuit can exhibit either simple periodic or equilibrium attractor. If the periodic input is applied the circuit can exhibit chaotic behavior: an RCL resonator is changed into a chaotic circuit by the nonlinear switch. In order to analyze the dynamics systematically, we derive a 1-D return map focusing on the timing when the periodic pulse-train input is applied. Using the return map, we investigate generation scenario of chaos. Presenting a simple test circuit, typical phenomena are confirmed experimentally. |
