High efficiency deep blue light-emitting organic device with an α-NPD emissive layer

Abstract(in English) We fabricated organic light-emitting organic device with deep blue emission by using α-NPD (Bis [N-(1-naphthyl)-N-pheny] benzidine). Luminance and external quantum efficiency were improved by optimiging the thickness of PVK, α-NPD and Bu-PBD. In results, threshold voltage 3.1V (@1cd/m^2), current efficiency 4.8cd/A (@100cd/m^2), and 6.0% (@100cd/m^2) of external quantum efficiency were obtained in the blue-OLED showing a peak wavelength of 435nm, and the degree coordinates of CIE color (0.15, 0.08).
