Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We could control morphology and alignment of pentacene single crystals which were segregated in liquid crystal. We fabricated liquid crystal/pentacene solution cells with different alignment layers and with various thickness to control segregation of pentacene single crystal in the cells. We also tried to induce crystal segregation under applied voltage. According to these experiments, we obtained the different morphology and alignment of crystals. Furthermore, we confirmed molecular alignment of pentacene single crystal based on Raman-scattering spectral microscopy.
