Abstract(in English) | A three-stage dielectric waveguide filter, which has an attenuation pole at the lower frequency-side of the pass-band, is presented for 60 GHz-band transceiver modules. The resonator is formed incorporating via holes in a metalized dielectric substrate. The attenuation pole is introduced by forming an additional coplanar line on the filter substrate. Four filters are designed for different center frequencies. Each fabricated filter shows an insertion loss of about 2dB at center frequencies of 63, 64, 65, 66GHz with a 3-dB bandwidth of about 3GHz. The suppression is remarkably improved due to the attenuation pole at the lower frequency-side of the pass-and. The size of each filter is 3.4mm×3.6mm. |
