Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, many people use Web browsers to access the Internet. However, Web page understanding is difficult for blind and visually impaired people, because many contents of Web pages are designed to get data via eyes. Today, since screen readers has been developed, it has become possible for blind and visually impaired people to get information of Web pages. However, it is difficult to read contents such as graphs and images except a text even if screen readers can be used. In particular, on graphs, it is important to understand shape, such as a rise tendency and a drop tendency as well as values of data. In our research, we propose a method for expressing graph shape with musical scales by using graph data for accessibility improvement.
