Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new digital audio testing system was developed for the learning disabled and the newly blind who have difficulties with reading braille and print format test. The system enables them to take the Japanese National Center Test for University Admissions. The system was developed on a tablet PC mainly and presents not only digital audio output but also document structures and figures of the test. Our experiment showed that tablet PC audio test is suitable test media for the test takers who can read at least numbers and characters on the document structure because the tablet PC audio test was equal to braille format test and DAISY format test concerning score and answer velocity.
