Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, IPTV services which transfer TV broadcasting contents over IP network has reality because of the wide spread of broadband networks. One of the merits of IPTV services is that we can watch the TV programs from anywhere and anytime as long as we have the Internet access. And, it is desired to watch them on any displays widely distributed on the Internet. On the contrary, it is important to construct an authentication mechanism for protecting contents broadcasted as TV programs from unauthorized copy. Therefore, we develop an IPTV service system using Session Layer Architecture which provides an authentication framework on the Internet with high usability. In this paper, we describe the system through our implementation.
