Resource Discovery Method for Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks Using DHT

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose an information discovering method based on the Decentralized Hash Table (DHT) for MANET. Since the DHT does not consider the physical topology of nodes in its overlay network, an unnecessarily large number of physical hops is needed even though the requested information can be discovered by a single overlay hop. In order to solve this problem, we propose a method which allocates near IDs to nodes that are physically near considering the physical topology of the network. We evaluate and compare our method to other ever proposed methods by the success rate of discovering requested information and the message load of reallocating node numbers.
