Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper discusses on multi-source road-to-vehicle communication and ranging system using spread spectrum technique called multi-source road-to-vehicle boomerang transmission system. First of all, we discuss multi-source road-to-vehicle boomerang transmission system. This system is based on the conventional boomerang transmission system. However, it is confirmed that each vehicle cannot communicate with traffic signal and it cannot measure the distance between the traffic signal and it self when may vehicles exit on the crossing because this system has near far problem. So, we propose the multi-source road-to-vehicle boomerang transmission system with a power-control technique. The proposed system is against the near far problem. From simulation results, it is conformed that the proposed system with the power-control technique is better than that without it.
