Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, a novel waveform measurement technique of ultrafast optical sampling is proposed and partially demonstrated using linear interaction with data signal and sampling pulses. Two series of interferometer system including slight relative delay enable not only the observation of amplitude modulation for ultra fast signal but also frequency modulation (phase) modulation. The amplitude modulation of 30ps gain-switched LD pulses are successfully observed in the experiment, where observed optical wave form is equivalent to the bandwidth of several tens of GHz. The observation of frequency modulation (phase) modulation is ongoing. This experimental result may imply the potential of the observation expanded to larger bandwidth.
