Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Item Response Theory (IRT), which can evaluate the different tests examinees on the same scale, has become popular with the spread of e-learning. Although the parameters estimation in the IRT usually employes the Newton-Raphson method, it is impossible to estimate the parameters in the case that all examinees provide the correct answer or the wrong answer. However, these responses are important in the case of such formative evaluation as e-learning. This paper proposes a new parameters estimation method of the IRT which can be applied to the data including the cases that all examinees provide the correct answer or the wrong answer. In addition, this paper shows the effectivity and efficiency of the proposed method in some numerical simulation experiments. |
