Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) One of the hot topics in the field of education today is a learning support system. With the progress of networks and multimedia technologies, types of various web based training (WBT) systems for distance- and self-learning have been developed. We have also been developing a web-based learning support system for WBT. Most current learning support systems reproduce synchronously lecture contents such as lecture videos, lecture slides, and digital-ink written on the slides by teachers. From the perspective of support for learners, those systems include just keyword retrieval. In this paper, we develop the more efficient learning support system by introducing arousal levels extracted from learner's biological information.
