Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the Ubiquitous networking environments where we can access and use information networks at anytime and anywhere is expected for the networking users, by the advanced wireless communication technologies. Particularly, Mobile Ad-hoc Networkings (MANETs) are paid attention. When data packets are transmitted on the MANETs, AODV being de-fact standardized by RFC (Request For Comment) does not adequate from the viewpoint of the transmission speed and the efficient usage of the transmission band because of the selection of the shortest route. Here, we propose Reservation-typed Variable Transmission Rate Control for Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (RVTRC). This new scheme reserves the transmission band of each terminal and the transmission speed can be changed every time. Therefore, high-speed transmission and a highly effective communication are enabled. We numerically show the validity of Reservation-typed Variable Transmission Rate Control by computer simulations.
