Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently it has been reported that TCP Reno dose not perform efficiently in wide band networks over gigabit level. Highspeed TCP and Scalable TCP based on congestion control of TCP Reno were proposed to overcome this problem, and their throughputs have been reported to be higher than those of Reno. However, in our simulation experiments, it is proved that they cannot maintain fairness among the flows of the same TCP version and TCP Reno. In this paper, we propose a novel RTT base TCP congestion control adapted to the wide band environments. We evaluated our method by NS simulations and verified fairness among the flows of the same TCP version and TCP Reno.
