Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We evaluate a bit error rate performance of a 26GHz-band ultra wideband (UWB) communication system in an indoor environment. In this evaluation, we use actual channel impulse responces which are measured by a vector network analizer in an indoor office room. A simple binary pulse position modulation (BPPM) and energy detection is employed. Simulation results show that the UWB communication system achieves the bit error rate of 10^<-4> within the distance of 3 meters, by using a directional antenna at the receiver side.
