Abstract(in English) Recently, software to be developed becomes large-scale and increasingly complex. Most of the companies requires universities to develop talented human resources capable of software development. It is usually planned a project for software development. Students in Shibaura Institute of Technology make many small teams and have exercises in teams in order to acquire knowledge and skills for software development. Each member of each team has respectively a specified roll for software development. The authors call such a exercise a "project exercise". Success and failure of each project exercise depend on whether or not the members of each team are good. Therefore, the authors developed a system to set up each team automatically such that member configuration of each team is appropriate respectively. In this paper, the authors propose a model for setting up each team stated above, describe a result of each team set up by using a system developed based on the model.
