Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A wireless ad hoc network is a collection of mobile terminals that form a provisional network dynamically without the aid of any predetermined infrastructure. Because of a lack of the base stations used for central timing synchronization, it is necessary to pay more attention to timing synchronization problem in ad hoc networks. If the synchronization can be achieved, interference between terminals will be reduced and cooperative communication will become possible. In this paper, a timing synchronization algorithm based on weighted sum of squared timing errors is proposed and analyzed by computer simulations.
