Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a scheme of correlation-based watermarking exploiting 1-D DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform). In this scheme, we embed watermarks into the sequences which are extracted from the same sequency coefficients of horizontal DCT for an original image. Firstly we describe the embedding method, and examine the relation between SNR and gain-factor for the method. Next by introducing the operation of expectation, we discuss the basic property of watermark detection. Finally we confirm the effectiveness of our scheme by means of computer simulation.
