Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A low cost 3D sound movement method for multiple sound sources is proposed, which is focusing on acoustic psychological phenomena. To achieve 3D sound movement for multiple sound sources, computational costs are generally proportional to the number of sound sources. Therefore the number of reproducible sound sources is restricted especially in mobile systems. The proposed method determines priority of the sound in order to apply a simplified algorithm to low priority sound sources and a normal algorithm to high priority ones. Furthermore, this method switches between the two algorithms without uncomfortableness. Subjective listening test of 3D sound effect has been performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
