| 抄録(和) | 音程パターンの出現頻度と再認成績との間に,単語頻度効果と同様の関係がみられるかどうかを調べた.音程パターンの再認では,高頻度パターンと低頻度パターンとの提示の仕方により,出現頻度と再認成績に関連がみられる場合と,みられない場合とがあった.すなわち,高頻度パターンと低頻度パターンとを別の試行で提示する非混合提示条件では,低頻度パターンのほうが高頻度パターンよりも高い再認成績を示した.一方,高頻度パターンと低頻度パターンとを同じ試行で提示する混合提示条件では,出現頻度の高低と再認成績との関連はみられなかった.再認におけるこのような提示条件の影響は,従来の単語における頻度効果や線画による先行研究とは異なる結果である. |
| 抄録(英) | We investigated the relationship between the frequency of occurrence of musical interval patterns and recognition performances. We were particularly interested in whether effects analogous to those of word frequency could be observed in the recognition of musical interval patterns. Effects of frequency, similar to the word frequency effects, were observed. These effects, however, depended on the list compositions of high- and low-frequency musical interval patterns. When musical interval patterns were presented in pure lists, in which high-frequency musical interval patterns and low-frequency musical interval patterns were presented in separate blocks, low-frequency musical interval patterns were more recognizable than high-frequency musical interval patterns. In mixed lists, in which high-frequency musical interval patterns and low-frequency musical interval patterns were mixed, no difference in recognition performance was found between high- and low-frequency musical interval patterns. Such list composition effects were inconsistent with previous findings concerning words or pictures. |
