Abstract(in English) Recently the incidents difficult to understand owing to IT happen frequently. Therefore it is important for students to learn IT ethics and morals. In this paper, we show what college students are interested in IT devices, IT society and IT education to carry out the research using the questionnaire, and show the plan for development of the teaching materials for IT ethics on the basis of the cross-cultural communication. Finally this paper suggests that understanding the cross-cultural communication between Japanese culture and IT society culture would help students to realize the importance of IT ethics and morals.
