Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the case of watermark embedding into the gray scale image, there is the method that embeds a watermark in the frequency dmain of the image by using DWT and spread spectrum technique. In a recent research, the watermark was mainly embedded only into the spcific frequency coefficients in the LL band of DWT. In this paper, we propose the method of embedding the watermark into all frequency coefficients in the LL band of DWT evenly without spread spectrum technique. We examined the relation between the bit error rate and the watermarked image quality against various image processing. Experimental results show that the proposed method is tolerant to JPEG compression.
