Abstract(in English) Objective perceptual video quality measurement techniques without using an original picture image are expected in the image distribution on the internet. In this paper, we analyze partially an MPEG-2 elementary stream to get error information, and we propose the algorithm as the one method of the objective quality evaluation for MPEG-2, which measures image quality from the error information. The validity of the algorithm was checked by subjective evaluation experiment.
