Abstract(in English) | By correction of illumination and color correction in an observed image, the reflectance that correction is essentially unnecessary is corrected. The Retinex theory was first proposed by Land, and deals with separation of irradiance from reflectance in an observed image. Recently, the minimization problem of a regularized energy functional of logarithmical linear diffusion process was proposed as method to separate the irradiance from an observed image by Kimmel and others. But, in this method, the value of the separated irradiance varies in discontinuity near objects of the different reflectance boundaries. For this problem solution, we improve separation estimate performance of the irradiance by defining energy functional with nonlinear diffusion process. In addition, center/surround Retinex color correction algorithm was proposed by J.D.Jobson and others. This algorithm can create the image that it is not affected by an illumination. In this paper, we compare and examine experiment results of the method to separate irradiance and the J.D.Jobson's method. Furthermore, we apply our method to a high quality chroma key in which local color corrected the separated irradiance. |
