Virtual Recovery of the Depleted Art Object based on AR Technology

Abstract(in English) Today, for the positioning of the modern work of art the irreversible restoration that aims recover of the beauty is not allowed in the many cases. In this research, we propose the virtual beauty recover method by using AR technology for this problem and realize the virtual beauty recover on the real objects. In the proposed method, the texture image for color compensation is generated beforehand and this image is projected on the art by the LCD projector. Moreover, the luster restoration by the image projection that based on the phong model was realized is also reported.
