Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper discribes a method of transcript mapping for historical brush-written images. Transcript mapping is to relate the character on images and the character in transcript text images. We examine the automatic method by pattern matching which use feature vectors extracted from brush-written images and transcript images. Our method does not need to separate each word. Instead of it, the proposed method divides the brush-written and transcript images into the sequence of small slit. Because of using DP matching, it is robost for expansion and contraction of the character.
