Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a coordinated active monitoring system where coordinated hosts generate load, measure network traffic, and analyze it. The proposed system has the following functions: a monitor kernel that executes the instruction that doesn't depend on operating systems and network monitoring tools, a dynamic reconfiguration mechanism to select suitable monitoring hosts at the start of the measurement and during the measurement. As a result, the proposed system enables an operator to measure network characterristics under various load condition at multiple points.
