Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Ubiquitous network aims at context-aware services where computer systems recognize user's status and adapt network services to user-side context. However, the method for context-awareness is not established enough. This paper proposes a method of context-awareness by combining context related metadata from international standardization bodies and Semantic-Web or knowledge expression technologies, to allow context retrieval and/or reduction thus achieves context description and recognition. Furthermore, it addresses "Context-Aware Platform" as a prototype of proposed method.
