Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a system that monitors the behavior of a distributed application based on state transition diagrams described by an operator. The proposed system monitors packets flowing in networks, and detects occurrences the state transition of a distributed application. As a result, it enables operator to detect the failures on the functions of the application, abnormalities of the down of the server and the overload by observing specific state transitions and analyzing it. In addition, the prototype system of the proposed system a computer aided programming exercise system.
