Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The pre-equalization method for OFDM-CDMA Technique has been received a lot of attentions as one of the candidate uplink transmission techniques for the next generation of mobile communication system because of its simple implementation of uplink communication, robustness to multi-path fading and efficient accommodation of multiple users. This paper proposes the adaptive modulation method for OFDM-CDMA system with uplink pre-equalization method to achieve the better channel capacity. This paper firstly presents MC-DS-CDMA/FSC system with pre-equalization method, which was already proposed by authors to solve the problem in the conventional MC-CDMA with pre-equalization method. Then this paper proposes the received CNR estimation method for the MC-DS-CDMA/FSC system, which is required for the adaptive modulation method at the mobile station. This paper also presents various computer simulation results to verify the proposed system.
