Abstract(in English) | The reduction in sound wave amplitude during propagation occurs inevitably by the process of sound absorption due to viscosity, heat conduction, and relaxation. To predict theoretically the sound propagation, it is of significant importance to include precisely these causes in basic equations of a real fluid. This report presents several model equations for the sound pressure and particle velocity taking into account of the sound absorption and velocity dispersion, especially caused by the relaxation process of translational and rotaional modecular motion in the fluid. |
