Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | To reduce traffic accidents and congestions, infrastructure and road-to-vehicle cooperation based on sensing with vehicle-mounted sensor have much more importance. Because of difficulty constructing system robust to environmental changes, image processing technology hasn't been sufficiently introduced in the market yet, but today, its improvement and an advanced understanding of users could make it possible. On the other hand, sensing technology draws attention as an effective way for acquiring data to understand the mechanism that causes traffic accidents and congestions. In this paper we survey recent image processing technology and discuss what is best to solve the problem by combining with sensing technologies. |
