Super Wide-View Polarizer with Broad Wavelength Range for High Contrast Liquid Crystal Displays

Abstract(in English) We developed a super wide-view polarizer with a broad wavelength range. By using a uniaxial film as a protection for the polarizer and two biaxial compensation films, we obtained a high contrast ratio for a wide viewing-angle range.
