Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The surface order parameter can be measured by observing contact angle between the isotropic phase droplet and the polymer substrate at the nematic-isotropic phase transition temperature T_. We clarified a part of the interaction between the LC molecules and the polymer surface using a three-dimensional order parameter measurement through the infrared absorption, a birefringence measurement of liquid crystal on the polymer surface and phase transition droplet contact angle measurement.
