Proposal for Web-based English Words Learning System

Abstract(in English) Recently, by the spread of the Internet, it has been easier and easier to access English web contents from all over the world. Foreign leaner can study English by reading the news site in real time. However it is not easy for a foreign reader to read English news because of the lack of English vocabulary. As it is boring to study English words, it is quite difficult to keep study motivation. In this paper, we propose a new concept called WordMap and an English word learning system which applies WordMap to assist user of English word study, and motivate user's interest for studying English.
