| Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose an automatically photographing system of sign language speaker. This system detects the questioner, tracks with the camera and projects the image of the questioner onto the monitor in front of the lecture room. Thus, other students can share the question of the speaker. The system can find the questioner by detecting raising hand, because the questioner clarifies the intention by raising hand. Then, the speaker is detected by student's head position from a background subtraction, skin extraction and the hair extraction and extracts the raising hand from the surroundings. And other students can recognize a question of detected speaker by automatically control the camera. As a result of raising hand detection experiment using this system, raising hand extract rate is 51%. |
