Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we investigate an adaptive sub-channel selection method of dynamic parameter controlled orthogonal frequency and time division multiple access (DPC-OF/TDMA) under a frequency selective fading environment. In DPC-OF/TDMA, an access point (AP) and mobile stations (MSs) communicate with using "sub-channels, " each of which consists of a certain number of sub-carriers in the system. The transmission capacity of the system could be improved by appropriately selecting a sub-channel to each MS because the channel responses are independent among MSs under the frequency selective fading environment. In this paper, we propose two kinds of the selection methods that use the channel responses of the sub-channels both in up- and down-links. We compare the transmission performances of DPC-OF/TDMA with the proposed methods and that with a non-selection (random selection) one by computer simulation.
