A Study on One-Cell Reuse Broadband Single Carrier TDMA System using a Carrier Interferometry Technique

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a one-cell reuse time division multiple access (TDMA) system using a carrier interferometry (CI) technique for uplink. In the proposed scheme, in order to reduce peak to average power ratio (PAPR) and mitigate the impact of inter-cell interference (ICI), we employ a CI technique which is equivalent to single carrier transmission in despite of multi-carrier transmission such as orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). As for the ICI mitigation, we employ a frequency domain equalization (FDE) according to the received signal to interference plus noise power ratio (SINR) for each discrete frequency. Especially, when low-rate modulation schemes are used, we adaptively select the used subcarriers according to the received SINR for each subcarrier, thereby the proposed system can have higher immunity to ICI. We confirm that the proposed system can achieve high transmission performance.
