Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When IEEE802.11 protocol, which is based on CSMA/CA scheme, is applied to mesh networks, "hidden terminal problem", "exposed terminal problem" and "the other problems" will be factor of throughput degradation. In this paper, the impact of virtual carrier sensing, which is prepared to suppress only hidden terminal problem, for the mesh networks is investigated and analyzed by using frame collision pattern.
